After agreeing they were all unusually hungry for some reason, Mariners fans heading to the game today on the ferry collectively opted for the $8 nacho upgrade.

“I personally would have preferred the $8 soft pretzel upgrade but they said the cheese dip container would make it impossible for cars to drive on and off,” said Bainbridge Island resident Paul Filson as he broke off a piece of the top-deck nachos. “I honestly thought we’d be in line waiting forever for our ferry nacho upgrade but it only took an hour!”

Mariners fans said they also opted for the upgrade just in case T-Mobile Park ran out of nachos with the $8 ferry tray upgrade.

“I’ve got a friend visiting from Ohio who really wanted to eat some nachos out of a ferry, so didn’t want to take any chances,” said Sarah McKinley holding a souvenir ferry food tray on her way back home next to a regular size man vaping in his regular size car. “Fortunately we got to enjoy both—I mean, unless the whole day we were so high we just imagined the first part.”

After repeated requests for comment about how they pulled it all off, at press time Washington Ferries could only confirm they had no idea what we were talking about.
