With the need for protective facial masks at an all-time high and Mother’s Day just around the corner, Target has unveiled the new High-Waisted Mom Mask, part of their new line of stylish, everyday masks for hardworking moms.
“Let’s face it, between working remotely and wrangling kids that have been taken out of school for the year, today’s quarantined Moms are busier than ever,” said Martha Robinson, spokesperson for Target. “That’s why they need a stylish yet versatile mask that can keep up with the demands of modern day motherhood during a global pandemic. Our High-Waisted Mom Masks rise high above the cheekbones, creating a flattering figure, without sacrificing the vital protection from airborne pathogens. Moms know that the work doesn’t stop just because you’re trying to create some semblance of normalcy amidst an unprecedented global emergency, and our masks give the protection busy moms need to be the essential workers they are at work and at home.”
The new line of masks have been a smash hit with local Moms, having already sold out at a Bothell Target in a matter of mere hours.
“Is there anything that Target can’t do?” said local mom Anita Meyer, showing off her brand new mask after waiting in line for two hours. “I tried these other low-cut little fashion masks from Nordstrom and they just couldn’t keep up with my busy day. I have three rowdy kids, thirty employees at work that I now have to manage remotely, and a husband that couldn’t find the laundry basket if it was stapled to his forehead. Ain’t nobody got time for skimpy little masks that just fall off your face.”
Not wanting to leave the nation’s dads out, Target announced they would soon be introducing a men’s line of multi-pocketed cargo masks in time for Father’s Day.
