Striving to “go deeper” in celebrating the Seattle Kraken’s first home game this fall, today Climate Pledge Arena revealed it will be offering game ticketholders a hot dog, small drink and kick in the throat for only $49.99 this season.
“Fans told us they wanted to see things get a little more physical this season, and let’s just say we’re game,” says Melody Clobber, Vice President for Customer Journey. “After they come to by either regaining the ability to breath and/or consciousness, there’s a drink and a dog waiting for them.”
Climate Pledge also teased new specials to come later in the hockey season.
“To make things a little more festive for the upcoming holidays, just outside Section 6 we’ll be offering two pork buns and a hockey stick to the kidney for only $39.99,” Clobber said between taking a few practice swings. “And for those fans who want a little less bang for their buck, on the mezzanine level your Kraken Fun Ambassador will yank your shirt over your head and bark out factual insults about your body while dumping unbuttered popcorn over your head for only $59.99. Truth be told, sometimes all any of us really need is a hearty wallop to the junk and, for proof, look no further than the 2023 Seattle Kraken this season.”
Despite the exciting new offer fans had been asking for all through the off-season, most Kraken fans at the game today told The Needling their go-to of paying $20 for a Miller Lite has always been violent enough.
