Fremont was unexpectedly flooded by thousands of Dave Matthews fans today after his concert booker reportedly accidentally booked his annual weekend-long concert series at “The George” instead of “The Gorge.”

“Oh man, Dave is so going to fire me —The George and the Dragon is more spacious than it looks from outside, but I still don’t think there’s going to be enough room for 27,000 people,” said concert booker Ian Bautista, nervously peering out the window at the growing crowd. “I’m not even sure they’re going to be able to fit the entire horns section in without moving a few kegs out of the way.”

But, despite his affable public image, associates of Dave Matthews warned that there would be consequences for the mix-up.

“I’d be skipping town if I was that guy—Dave doesn’t take kindly to mistakes: Remember that 800 pounds of human waste his tour bus dumped on that Chicago River cruise? The promoter who forgot the kombucha on his concert rider was on that boat,” said Neil Parsons, longtime roadie for the band. “Rumor has it that the song #41 was inspired by the list of the 41 people that have wronged him he has tattooed on his back, and he crosses them off one by one as he exacts his revenge. I mean look at his discography: ‘Pay for What You Get?’ ‘Don’t Drink the Water?’ ‘Crash Into Me?’ Those aren’t song titles—those are threats.”

The concert booker was last seen scrambling after realizing he’d also accidentally sent Dave directions to The George at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Downtown Seattle and booked a month’s worth of Showbox concerts at nearby Showgirls.
