It’s been more than two decades since Titanic’s Rose and Jack rocked our worlds with their unforgettable love affair at sea. Now two Bremerton-bound lovebirds aboard the Chimacum are giving them a run for their box-office honey.

“This is going to get so many views,” said Travis Perkins, 17, who was filming the romantic tryst for TikTok while his parents sipped clam chowder upstairs. “You can only see various limbs pressing up on the car window condensation, but that’s what makes it so hot: It leaves so much to the imagination.”

Sarah Watkins, who was planning on reading a romantic novel in her driver’s seat anyway, agreed.

“The sheer uninhibited abandon of these two,” said Watkins, shaking her head as the 2002 Toyota Corolla ahead of her rattled in every direction. “I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”

And it’s not just the passion between these two drawing eyeballs, says Watkins: It’s their dogged determination to do the deed.

“Those two yelled out their windows before everything went down to ask if anyone had a condom,” she said. “No one replied or came to their aid, but those two brave souls went for it anyway, the true Bremerton way.”
