Several Seattle historians are reporting today that local idiot Kyle Bennington actually thought SoDo stood for “south of downtown” instead of what it obviously stands for.

“South of the Dome – the fucking Kingdome. Hello! Duh,” said the idiot transplant’s reluctant friend and local historian Evan Emerson. “It’s like Kyle’s never even heard of the former concrete home of the Seahawks, Mariners, Supersonics and Sounders even though it set records for being and definitely looking like the least expensive domed, air-conditioned stadium of its size ever built.”

Emerson says he and countless lifelong Seattle residents have had to work harder and harder over the years to loudly correct the swarm of morons who have the audacity to automatically assume that “Do” means Downtown.

“Kyle’s stupid ass didn’t even know it was the original home of the Seahawks,” Emerson said. “Goddamn NCAA Final Four was even hosted there! But he just wants to live his life as if that shit never happened I guess.”

At press time, Bennington was apologizing for his insulting stupidity to a group of close friends and loved ones, while Emerson was spotted tearfully rewatching a YouTube video of the March 26, 2000 Kingdome implosion over and over again.
