A local Facebook hiking group is reeling tonight after yet another sadist posted a gorgeous trail photo without mentioning its location.
“This sick fuck posted a picture of herself in front of this gorgeous waterfall I’ve never seen with no mention of what trail it was on,” said Washington Hikers and Climbers Facebook member Gene Turlock. “At first I thought it was a mistake, but then even after dozens of us – dozens! – begged, pleaded and asked for where it was, there was no response. Not even a hint. I’ll never understand how people get off on torturing people like this.”
Hundreds of hikers were left convulsing in misery until veteran hiker Lauren Englewood rescued them with a trail ID of Otter Falls via Taylor River.
“I’m just doing my part,” said Englewood, scanning the rest of the group’s recent trail photos. “I’ve seen so much worse. Last time I had to rescue about a hundred people who got trapped into reading the entire first chapter of this 23-year-old influencer’s memoir that didn’t so much as mention what national park she took the photo at.”
To avoid getting lured in by such sadistic posts in the future, Englewood said she encourages Facebook group members and moderators to look for common red flags of unnamed trail photo sadists which include any shirtless people in the photo and any mention of the phrase “my journey” in the first sentence of the post.
