Heartbroken at the loss of Supreme Court legend and equal rights warrior Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the #NeverBiden camp quickly sent her family—as well as all women, immigrants, people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, voting rights advocates, fans of reproductive rights, people with pre-existing conditions—their most touching thoughts and prayers.
“So horrible! So much will be dying with her as conservative justices gain a super-majority in the Supreme Court for the next three decades as they dismantle equal rights that took centuries to win,” said #NeverBiden supporter Brendan Wade. “If only I could have done something simple yet powerful in 2016 to prevent this awful situation she fought with every ounce of her being to prevent. If only there was something obvious and powerful I could still do this year to prevent the situation from getting worse. Oh well. Thoughts and prayers!”
When asked why he wouldn’t consider what Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and civil rights legend Angela Davis have implored all progressives to do this fall – elect Joe Biden for president – Wade waved away the suggestion.
“Oh, they’re really cool and all, it’s just a shame they don’t live with as much hopelessness and cynicism as I do,” Wade said. “The real, most hard-core and inspiring progressives out there have already thrown in the towel on this election so we can better spend our time complaining on social media about how much worse things will get. You’re welcome.”
Wade assured us that some day he’ll vote for a presidential candidate that has a shot in hell of winning.
“Of course, I’m just waiting for that sweet spot between Trump’s third term and the beginning of a nepotistic dictatorship under the rule of King Don. Jr.,” Wade said. “Some day when Princess Ivanka has had enough of Don’s shit and he’s decapitated on the White House lawn, I will tell my children this precious moment was brought to you in part by brave #NeverBiden crusaders like myself.”
While Notorious RBG’s family said they appreciate the thoughts and prayers, what they want most to satisfy her dying wish is for everyone to “vote for Joe Biden, motherfuckers.”
