One Belltown man’s expansive view of the Puget Sound apartment disappeared today when it was suddenly replaced by a view of the 40-story Arrive tower and, more specifically, the floor-to-ceiling window of Jeffrey Morgan’s living room.
“Half of my Instagram posts were sunsets over the water or ferries sailing to the islands — now all I can see is some guy eating cereal in his boxers,” said Sam Linn. “He really needs to add more vegetables to his diet, if you ask me — I’m already getting a little worried about him.”
Only four months into a 12-month lease, Linn says he can now only show friends pictures on his phone of what once was.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Morgan said he’s doing his best to not take one second of his waterfront view for granted.
“I love the layout and the views are unbeatable,” said Morgan. “The only weird thing is the guy across the street who seems to be watching me all the time.”
According to the city planning commission, a new, even taller tower is expected to block Morgan’s waterfront view by the end of the week.
