In an adorable show of desperate bandwagoning, one apparently lost Californian confidently wandered into a Downtown Seattle office for today’s Blue Friday dressed head-to-toe in Seahawks regalia.

“It’s the most strangely cute and pathetic thing I’ve ever seen,” said accountant Lilly Iverson. “Chad says he’s a USC grad from their Pete Carroll days and so, in a way, it ‘totally’ makes sense he would all of a sudden be a Seahawks fan.”

Though Chad wasn’t fooling anyone, the office amusingly indulged his assumption that he was “finally fitting in.”

“I know there’s some rumors out there that I’m from the Golden State, but that doesn’t mean I can’t fully appreciate what Seattle loves most,” Chad said. “Beeeeast MOOODE! Am I right? Now who wants to turn this into a BREW Friday?”

Coworker and fifth generation Ballardite Brock Bergstrom said “not today,” but that they “should watch the game against Green Bay together this weekend somewhere,” later adding under his breath “sucker.”

Should the Seahawks beat the Packers, experts say there’s still a good chance Chad may fly back home and revert to wearing red and gold.
