In an effort to streamline the payment process, sex workers on Aurora Avenue have collaborated with Washington State Dept of Transportation (WSDOT) to bring customers the “Good to Blow!” pass.
With a pre-paid account and a scannable windshield sticker, patrons of sex work along Highway 99 can enjoy both enhanced quality and a dedicated lane for expedited service said WSDOT spokesman John Dandridge.
“The WSDOT was pleased to work with the sex industry entrepreneurs along Aurora Avenue to bring greater satisfaction to both daily commuters and destination shoppers,” Dandridge said. “Whether someone uses Good to Blow! every morning or just once in a while, we hope that the pass will save them valuable time.”
Sex workers shared their enthusiasm for the “Good to Blow!” pass, citing ease of use for both consumer and provider.
“With billing handled electronically and automatically, I can focus on what really matters,” said Carlene who usually hangs out around Burgermaster.
The Good to Blow! Pass could start as early as Summer 2019, but an exact date hasn’t been set.
