Following the success of his sensational breakout season with the Mariners last year, today Cal “Big Dumper” Raleigh announced that this season he’s capitalizing on his nickname by launching his own line of “Lil’ Dumper” baby diapers.
“Our new, patented baby diapers leave a little extra room in the rear so your Lil’ Dumper has plenty of space to drop bombs with maximum comfort,” Cal Raleigh says in commercial set to debut during Thursday’s Opening Day game. “The diapers even have a band on the waist that turns Mariners-blue when the diaper gets wet, letting you know when your baby’s drought is finally over. So—whether it’s at T-Mobile Park or literally five minutes after their last diaper change—your Lil’ Dumper will be ready to let off their next cannon shot in style.”
The custom diapers, complete with #29 on the back, are already a smash-hit with parents raising the next generation of Mariners fans.
“My kid is always dropping big-league bombs, so I knew the Lil’ Dumper was the perfect diaper for her,” said local dad Aaron Nguyen. “Speak of the devil, that scrunched up face means its game time. My oh my that smells like a four-bagger—looks like I’m in the cleanup spot today!”
Following the huge response to the baby diapers, the Mariners Team Store announced they would also be giving away “True to the Poo” branded baby wipes with each sale.
