In order to fully appreciate re-living memories from her favorite 90s sit-com, Friends, today Seattleite Kelly Dodge went to Pacific Place to wander show set recreations at The FRIENDS Experience without friends.

“My favorite things in the world are the show Friends and the idea of friends—I’d just hate to chance ruining it by bringing along any real-life friends,” said Kelly as she embraced her moment to have the orange Central Perk couch all to herself while a family waited for their turn. “KELLY DOESN’T SHARE COUCH. I mean, I guess it might be fun to play-act some of my favorite scenes from the show here with someone I know, but then I’d have to text them, check schedules, act like I’m surprised when they say they’re coming and then flake at the last minute. Fuck all that. I don’t need anyone dismissing how cool it is that this is where Rachel blew half her barista shift to pay rent on a 1,500 square-foot apartment in Manhattan. And this couch seems so authentic—it even really smells like smelly cat!””

Going alone also came with the added benefit of not having to drag along people who don’t think the exhibit’s $32 ticket price is worth it, like her best friend Danielle who politely declined the only invite Kelly dared to dole out to a real person.

“I’ve heard more than enough ‘How you doin’’s for a lifetime, no thanks,” said Danielle. “She kept trying to make me go with her until I finally started speaking her language and told her to stop because it was definitely a ‘moo point,’ and I think we need to take some space from each other.”

Kelly has since defended posting pictures of herself making new friends at the FRIENDS Experience that reportedly made her best friend jealous saying, “Oh. My. God. We were on a break!”

At press time, they were sleeping together on Danielle’s couch having the best naps they’ve ever had.
