Despite the inauguration of the first female Vice President in United States history earlier this year proving both sexism and racism are pretty much over, wide gender pay gaps somehow continue to exist according to a local newsroom where wide gender pay gaps continue to exist.
“According to our watchdog investigation, most companies are still hiring young men at higher salaries than women who’ve spent years working for hard-earned professional accolades at the same company for the same job description,” said the reporter for a newsroom that’s done the same thing for decades.
Racial pay gaps also continue to persist, according to the newsroom where racial pay gaps continue to persist.
“On top of being underpaid, these groups also tend to be the most overworked and burnt out,” said the reporter for a newsroom where almost every woman and person of color who doesn’t put in hours of unpaid overtime is shamed for being too ungrateful for their jobs and first in line for the next inevitable wave of layoffs.
The newsroom said it will continue to report on unfair labor practices at Amazon and several other companies remotely from Freedom of the Press Grant-funded glass houses.
